Welcome!

While others talk about kindness in the abstract, I make it tangible in the form of handcrafted tokens.

These aren’t just gestures thoughtfully left behind—they are physical reminders of care, offered in presence. Tokens that say, I see you. Tokens that turn strangers into neighbors, and everyday moments into bridges.

They don’t require explanation. But they create ripples you can feel:

  • A cashier stands a little taller.

  • A delivery driver leaves with a smile.

  • A child learns that kindness is real.

Each token reminds someone they matter. Each token brings you a little bit closer to your lost creative self.

Meet the Creator

I’m Mansi (Maan-see), Creator of The RIPPLE Practice™.

Living in Silicon Valley’s relentless buzz, I am choosing something quieter: presence over speed, depth over performance.

How It All Began

Eight years ago, I had surplus ceramic tiles thanks to neighbor donations and a newfound love for fluid art. Blank canvases no more, I started pouring my heart onto those 2x2 tiles, turned them into magnets and offered them as tokens of appreciation to store owners in downtown Los Altos.

At first, I thought I was just clearing space. But the responses I received told a different story. These weren’t received as experimental pieces of art. People saw them as tokens of recognition—small gestures that said: “I see you.” And as I spent time conversing with these local business owners, I realized something was shifting within me. They were seeing me as an artist, a kindness instigator, a ripple maker.

That realization changed everything. The ripple doesn't start when you hand someone a token. It starts the moment you sit down to create it.

When you make something without needing it to be perfect, without pressure to perform—that’s the internal ripple. Then, when you offer it freely, that shift extends outward.

Eight years of placing almost 3,000 tokens in the hands of cashiers, janitors, bus drivers, travelers, neighbors and I feel like the movement is just getting started.

In August 2025, I created the Ripple Station™ outside my home—a community kindness box where neighbors can pick up tokens, personalize them, and pass them forward.

The tokens are just the vehicle. The real work is what happens inside me—and you— through the practice of making and giving.

What My Ripple Makers Say…

  • High value to me--your gracious hospitality, having folks introduce themselves, gently inviting people to share at the pace of their comfort level, your affirmation and hearing of what people shared, giving space for people to have their experience without expecting it to be the same or normative for everyone, and sharing what we created at the end. Bonus-watching you create!

    —Melissa

  • I enjoyed sharing the space with everyone during my first visit to The Ripple Room. I wasn't sure if it would be conversation only, or working on personal art projects while chatting... perhaps that was made clear at some point, but I seemed to miss that aspect. I loved watching Mansi create - always so inspirational.

    —Judy

  • I loved seeing everyone today, creating with mindless abandon, while everyone shared their stories and perspectives. Such an awesome group, and I am grateful to you Mansi for coordinating getting all of us in the same space.

    —Jean

  • That was a great prompt for me to get creative in a new way with new people. Our small tribe for 90 minutes. Thank you.

    —Brenda

  • I will definitely carry forward the creative and artistic tools and strategies I learned. But I will also carry forward the feeling of being seen by others and being allowed to take up space and be just the way I am without expectation. I don’t often feel I am able to just be me without needing to be “on” for others.

    —Laura

  • Thank you for having us Mansi! Creating with you and everyone else was so much fun and the lessons paralleled a lot of skills needed for life as well. Your presence carries kindness and tranquility that really make the experience from the start.
